What I offer

At Achieve Tuition, I offer a wide range of individual learning plans to tutor the needs of learners.

My name is Darrell Oakden and I have taught in Primary Schools for 24 years and during that time I have worked with every class from reception to year 6. I having been teaching at Achieve Tuition since September 2018 and I have a wealth of experience that will help to design sessions to help your child reach their full potential. Since 2018 I have tutored children from reception up to year 11.

 

Children come to us for a variety of reasons, for example:

Children in year 2 or year 6 who would like additional support when working towards Key Stage one or two SATs tests.
Z
Students who have specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD or ASD.
Z
Students who are having difficulty or who have gaps in their learning in English, for example, in reading, grammar and punctuation, writing composition or spelling.
Z
Children who lack confidence, particularly in a classroom setting.
Z
Students who are having difficulty in any area of Mathematics.
Z
Children who want to accelerate their learning beyond what can be offered at school.

Speciality

At the moment, I specialise in tuition for children aged 5 -14. I also tutor Maths G.C.S.E. to foundation level. However, this age bracket is not set in stone and I will help you if I can. Please email or phone me for details of sessions for other age groups.
